Organ Recovery Systems is a company developing technologies to improve the quality and quantity of organs for transplantation. Organ Recovery Systems markets LifePort, a growing family of devices that establishes a new continuum of care for ex vivo organs. The LifePort Kidney Transporter is now in routine use worldwide and has been recognized for excellence in design. Breakthrough designed a PC-based reporting interface to enable customers to easily access multiple devices, conduct remote monitoring, view trend data and easily manage complex data sets.

Promissor, Inc.
Promissor, Inc was Founded in 1984, Promissor is the leader in developing and delivering secured, computer based solutions for test and survey organizations worldwide. Breakthrough Technologies has provided Promissor full software development lifecycle services including object-oriented design and analysis of a custom, 3-tier internet and client-server test construction and delivery application.

Breakthrough Technologies provides Abbott with custom translation/code generation technologies and consulting.

The Houghton Mifflin Company
The Houghton Mifflin Company is a worldwide publisher of textbooks and educational content, both in print and on the web. Breakthrough Technologies has worked with Houghton-Mifflin on strategies regarding common test delivery platforms for content management and delivery across their divisions.

McDougal-Littell
McDougal Littell specializes in getting content into the classrooms of American schools. Part of this content included test questions for teachers to administer exams to their students. These exams were typically administered in a paper and pencil configuration. By integrating their content management into a sister division's content delivery system, the same Java software can publish the exam into a browser-based delivery system with online reporting and roll-up of test scores across schools and classrooms.

Later, we worked with McDougal technology teams to integrate and extend their EssaySmart solution to work within their ClassZone website.  We developed a lightweight licensing model to accommodate the tricky business rules of selling to schools and districts, but still have a demonstrable system that afforded trials and supported the sales process while ultimately recapturing the revenue for the organization.
 
Achievement Technologies
Achievement Technologies is a Chicago-based company whose expertise is in real estate tracking and management software. When Achievement Technologies decided to port their SamTrak facility management software from their legacy systems to new platforms, Breakthrough performed the feasibility and established architectural techniques to run their existing systems in a wireless PDA platform.

Ridgemoor Country Club is one of Chicago's greatest country clubs. We were honored to help them with their hosting and web development needs, including an interactive posting for club events and other self-managed content.

National-Louis University
National-Louis currently has a large number of data collection systems in use by field representatives. This data required better reliability and a lower cost data reduction strategy. Breakthrough delivered this for them, giving their process greater reliability, faster turnaround, and a great deal of interoperability with downstream reporting systems.

Telemedicine Solutions
Breakthrough's ongoing relationship with Telemedicine Solutions has created some true innovations in the healthcare EMR marketplace.  By creating a ASP.NET portal utilizing state-of-the-art reporting and web services, Breakthrough has worked closely with this client and its customers to create a lightweight, elegant Wound care management system for nursing homes and extended care facilities.  You can read more about this solution at WoundRounds.

Data entry is accomodated by a thick client running on multiple mobile smartphone platforms utilizing Windows Mobile 6 as its base technology.  We integrated camera functions and the end result is an easy-to-use wound assessment technology that integrates seamlessly with a patient charting and telemedicine consult platform.
