Organ Recovery Systems is a company developing technologies to improve the quality and quantity of organs for transplantation. Organ Recovery Systems markets LifePort, a growing family of devices that establishes a new continuum of care for ex vivo organs.

Breakthrough designed a PC-based reporting interface "The LifePort Data station" to enable customers to easily access multiple devices, conduct remote monitoring, view trend data and easily manage complex data sets. The application used the .NET development framework to run on any standard PC.

The LifePort Kidney Transporter is now in routine use worldwide and has been recognized for excellence in design by:
