If you’re on the business side of tech, you might be well familiar with the vexing challenges that come with creating a Request for Proposal that elicits quality responses.
To help you reduce that burden, here’s a practical article that we recently wrote for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Randy led the team of movers over the weekend and Monday to get the Breakthrough force all setup in our beautiful new space. We're (mostly) unpacked and settling in nicely. We all agree that a big shout out is in order to the IT team, Greg Chapman and Steven Campbell who made the transition seamless for all.
Breakthrough is breaking ground...or drywall, as the case may be. 2014 proved to be a big year for Breakthrough Technologies. Thus, we've outgrown our humble abode here at 1840 Oak Ave. and, we're moving next door - right next door, to 1880 Oak Ave.
Our high-tech, spacious new office is currently undergoing a big makeover. Here's a sneak peak of our beautiful new home (still under renovation). We hope you'll swing by for a tour!
Headless Drupal – it sounds frightening! But rather than a nightmare, Headless Drupal is a dream come true for association websites and apps.
Drupal is a popular free and open-source web development platform. It runs more than a million sites and powers some of the busiest ones on the web.
Headless Drupal refers to the platform’s capabilities as a highly versatile content application programming interface that can easily be integrated with other technologies.
Breakthrough Technologies has had an exciting year and we are interested in showing you all the innovative technology products we've been working on for the credentialing market. We'll be in sunny San Antonio next week at the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) conference. We'd like to invite you to a private demonstration of both our TAO Assessment Platform and our suite of Mobile Applications.
You'll find us at booth 4. We hope to see you there!

It's been a couple weeks since the Breakthrough teams took a break and bonded over some mini-golf at the Bunny Hutch Novelty Golf shack. Entering the shack is a bit like going down the proverbial rabbit hole and stepping back in time. The 65-year-old hutch has a nostalgic charm to it with pleasantly kitschy obstacles at each hole.
We ate well too! We dined in style (picnic style of course) on Arepas, Columbian Sausages and some seriously delicious Empanadas.
When Breakthrough Technologies developed the Morton Arboretum’s website using the Drupal open-source content management system, they also built in a plan for expanding the arboretum’s reach by creating a multi-feature mobile app.
See this innovative, free mobile app in action and how it was featured recently on the WGN TV News Around Town morning segment.
The Breakthrough teams have been working really hard, and today we get to play hard. We are channeling our Ryder Cup buddies and hitting the green. When our work day is over, we are going to pitch and run to the putt putt golf course. There will be some friendly competition before we make our way to the 19th hole. Look for the photos next week!
It’s that time of year again, a time when the days grow shorter and the green of summer turns to hues of amber. In other words, it’s TAO time! Yes, TAO Days are upon us. Speakers will travel across the globe to share their experiences and showcase their accomplishments using the TAO assessment platform to fulfill a wide variety of national assessment requirements. This year’s TAO Days, hosted by TBA21 GmbH and OPIT, will take place in Budapest, Hungary beginning Monday, September 22 through Tuesday September 23.
The times they are a changin’ for Breakthrough Technologies’ humble, yet exceptional group. We are in the midst of expanding our BT family and upping our respective game. So, when Breakthrough’s Visual Design Expert, Michelle Sus decided to join the User Experience team, it was quite the coup for them. Our UX team, lead by the savvy Litha Ramirez is proud to have Michelle Sus among them.
