Inc. magazine has listed Breakthrough Technologies on the just-released seventh annual Inc. 500|5000 – an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
Breakthrough earned the position of #2049 on the 2013 Inc. 500|5000 list that ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth from 2009 to 2012.
Further, Breakthrough ranked seventh out of the 14 companies operating in the software industry, located in Illinois that made the list.
We’re proud to be cited among companies whose median growth rate clocks in at 142 percent despite a stagnant economic environment. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion.
To qualify for the Inc. 500|5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies businesses must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.
